Recom has launched three new medical grade DC-DC converters with 250VAC / 2MOPP certification. The REM3, REM6 and REM10 ranges provide output powers of 3W, 6W or 10W, respectively, and are installed in DIP24 enclosures. Despite the compact housing size, all series have reinforced isolation with a rated operating voltage of 250VAC, 5KVDC galvanic isolation, 8mm creepage distance and clearance, and low leakage current of 2μA.
These three series offer a 2: 1 or 4: 1 input voltage range with single or dual output ranges from 3.3V to 24V. A high efficiency of 89% means an operating temperature of -40C to 105C. The company said that the REM series has passed IEC60601-1 and ANSI / AAMI 606061 CB certification.
