Cherry's energy harvesting switch module addresses the increasing demand for simple, flexible wireless data transmission of switch signals and low maintenance and low energy consumption. Innovative wireless and battery-free energy harvesting technologies provide effective control solutions for countless applications in almost every market segment, including industrial and building automation, smart home and medical. Innovative technologies designed for global use enable Cherry to provide a true alternative to wired or battery-powered solutions. The solution is compatible with multiple wireless protocols and does not require battery replacement or disposal, so it is flexible, environmentally friendly, and maintenance-free. The key to the new product line is the energy harvesting generator, which uses a patented mechanism to convert mechanical forces into electrical energy in the form of RF output signals. The protection grade is IP40, the service life is 1,000,000 switching cycles, the operating temperature range is -40C to + 85C, it can provide instantaneous and latching switching action, and the maximum working distance in open space can reach 300m. In order to communicate with the host system, Cherry offers a ZF proprietary protocol and will meet customer specific requirements. To ensure global wireless compatibility, the system can be designated to operate in 868MHz and 915MHz or 2.4GHz lighting applications. Two standard packaged switches are provided to start the energy harvesting generator, a momentary rocker switch and a quick switch. After operating the switch, it will provide data transmission via RF technology. These high-reliability switches provide IP40 protection for at least 100,000 switching operations and an operating temperature range of -20C to + 60C, allowing transmission of up to 30m of space within a building. Flexible pairing allows multiple switches to operate with a single receiver and vice versa. Provides clear identification when operating multiple switches at once. Send up to three telegrams each time, and use pseudo-random timing to ensure reliable data transmission.
