       Mouser is now equipped with Renesas Electronics' RZ/V2L AI microprocessor. These devices are ideal for engineers looking for cost-effective AI solutions, offering entry-level AI while offering many of the powerful features of its predecessor, RZ/V2M, including best-in-class power efficiency and high-precision AI acceleration.

        Driving the microprocessor is a 1.2GHz dual-core Arm Cortex-A55 CPU with an Arm Mali-G31 3D graphics engine. And offers Renesas' unique DRP-AI, which allows the microprocessor to support various image processing uses, including color correction and noise reduction of input/output images. This property allows designers to use inexpensive camera modules without the need for an external image signal processor to interpret sensor data—a key to integrating AI into a variety of cost-power-constrained IoT devices.

         The microprocessor is provided with the RZ/V2L SMARC PMIC kit for evaluation. Also available in a 15mm × 15mm or 21mm × 21mm BGA package, compatible with Renesas RZ/G2L, it can be easily upgraded and software reused by modifying the system configuration.

      These microprocessors provide users with surveillance cameras with identification capabilities, home appliances, smart robotic cleaning devices, smart doorbells, and retail POS terminals. There are also AI capabilities for various consumer and industrial IoT applications
