Post-datum: 2022-01-02, Teledyne LeCroy

Teledyne FLIR has launched the latest product in its line of polarized Blackfly S GigE cameras, the BFS-PGE-123S6P-C, which it claims is the smallest product in existence.

The camera is suitable for use cases such as traffic systems, UAS, inspection lines with transparent or reflective components, and other uncontrolled lighting environments. This new 12MP model is ideal for applications dealing with reflective and/or challenging lighting conditions.

The camera combines an all-new SONY IMX253 MZR sensor with easy-to-use anti-dazzle features built into the Spinnaker SDK, making application development and deployment quick and simple. These Gigabit cameras with PoE also take advantage of our new lossless compression feature to provide full resolution up to 14 frames/SEC without compromising image quality.

It weighs just 36 grams, making it much lighter and more compact than competing products on the market.
