HD3SS460 is the latest product from Texas Instruments. It is a high-speed bidirectional passive switch in a multiplexer or demultiplexer configuration. The device provides switches based on the control pin POL to accommodate connector flipping. The device also provides multiplexing between 2Ch data / 2Ch video and all 4Ch video based on the control pin AMSEL. The device also provides cross-point MUX for low-speed pins based on the implementation of the reversible connector. HD3SS460 is a universal analog differential passive switch. As long as it is biased in the common-mode voltage range of 0-2V and has a differential signal with a differential amplitude of up to 1800mVpp, it can be applied to any high-speed interface application. It uses adaptive tracking to ensure that the channel remains constant over the entire common-mode voltage range. This device has excellent dynamic characteristics, which enables high-speed switching, while minimizing the attenuation of the signal's eye diagram with very little jitter. It consumes less than 2mW of power during operation, and less than 5µW in shutdown mode, and can be executed through its EN pin.
