    Texas Instruments ISO7830/31/10/10F are high performance single and triple channel digital isolators with 8000 V(PK) isolation voltage. These devices have enhanced isolation certification according to VDE, CSA and CQC. Isolators provide high electromagnetic immunity and low power consumption with low emissions while isolating CMOS or LVCMOS digital I/Os. Each isolated channel has a logic input and output buffer separated by a silicon dioxide (SiO(2)) insulating barrier.

       The ISO7830 and ISO7831 have enable pins that can be used to place their respective outputs in high impedance multi-master drive applications and reduce power consumption. ISO7830 has three forward channels, ISO7831 has two forward channels, and neither has reverse channels.

      If input power or signal is lost, the default output is "High" for ISO7830/31/10 and "Low" for ISO7830F/31F/10F devices. Used in conjunction with isolated power supplies, this unit prevents noise currents on the data bus or other circuits from entering the local ground, interfering with or damaging sensitive circuits. Through innovative chip design and layout techniques, the electromagnetic compatibility of ISO7830/31/10/10F has been significantly enhanced to mitigate system-level ESD, EFT, surge and emissions compliance. The ISO7830/31/10/10F is available in a 16-pin SOIC wide body (DW) package.
