New Yorker Electronics offers ip68-class Orion fans in the harsh environment AC and DC fan series. The IP68 rating guarantees the motor full protection from dust and other particles, and may be completely submerged in water depths of up to 3 meters. The DC fan has special functions, such as alarm, tachometer, thermistor speed regulation, and temperature sensor. Available in a variety of frame sizes, these axial flow fans have a waterproof design for harsh environments.
These AC/DC fans are available with dual bearing system designs and PBT, UL94V-0 plastic or aluminum die-cast frames. They are designed for use in alternative energy, food and beverage processing, commercial refrigeration, shipbuilding, outdoor machinery, outdoor telecommunications systems, transportation and other applications. Developed for harsh flushing applications and ateX certified zone 2 and other harsh environments.
The launch of the nine new IP68-class DC fan series offers 90 different models, providing engineers with the design diversity and flexibility to meet the needs of most applications. Special features are also provided to meet application requirements, including alarm, tachometer, thermistor speed control, temperature sensor and more. Airflow ranges from 14 to 300CFM, these fans maximize air circulation and heat dissipation, extending the operating life of electronics and systems. Fan sizes range from 60mm to 172mm.
