U-blox now offers the SARA-R510AWS module, which performs a variety of applications requiring reliable and secure cloud connectivity, including asset tracking, sensor monitoring, smart farms and connected medical devices. It is a new variant of the globally certified SARA-R5 LTE-M cellular module series.

Thanks to a streamlined command interface, the module can connect to the AWS cloud using just two dedicated AT commands. At the same time, the new module provides product developers with a direct path to secure, scalable AWS cloud services, greatly reducing product development time and effort, and shortening time to market.
This module runs verified AWS IoT ExpressLink firmware to minimize integration efforts by handling the critical steps needed to access the AWS cloud, such as networking, authentication, and secure data transfer. The module also provides a variety of security features, including pre-configured hardware-based trust roots, secure startup and secure storage, and encrypted communication with the cloud to facilitate secure wireless updates for the host processor and communication firmware for the module.
