    Variohm EuroSensor has released a new polyimide casing, high-tolerance NTC thermistor that increases the ENTC thermistor range. The new ENTC-MP-10K3997-01 is specifically designed for precise sensing of small, mid-range temperature changes for temperature sensing tasks in non-condensing humidity environments. Suitable for highly sensitive medical instruments and industrial temperature measurement applications.

    The new thermistor is based on a durable epoxy bead EB series package sensor. Its 1.27 mm diameter x 5 mm long polyimide casing has strong mechanical properties, high temperature stability and excellent chemical resistance, making it a widely used material in applications where durability is required. When the time constant is 15 seconds in the still air, the resistance of the thermistor at +25C is equal to 10kOhm, and the 25/85 Beta constant is 3977K ±, and the accuracy is 0.5%, which can meet the requirements of high precision temperature measurement.

     It has an interchangeability of ± 0.1c over the entire temperature range from 0C to 70C. The specified operating temperature range is -40C to +90C. The device is equipped with insulated leads -- approximately 150mm long with 2 x 30AWG solid copper wire with Kynar insulation. Custom versions are available upon request.

    The company's recently launched ENTC series includes highly sensitive NTC thermistors in sealed glass or epoxy packages.
